All parts of the community have views about Newtown, what it is like to live in, how it is connected to other places, and how it is changing. An important part of the community are younger people and those leaving fulltime education, often missing from research.
We are developing a number of small projects that involve schools and older students in thinking about these sorts of questions. In doing this we also hope to create some materials that can be used in classrooms to get students to think about how globalisation affects their lives and where they live.
Some of these projects are summarised here.
